The Savannah Police Department complies with all state and federal rules and regulations regarding the use of ALPR technology and the storage and retention of license plate “reads”, data, and information.
The Savannah Police Department receives continuing approval from the local governing body yearly, and an internal audit of usage by the officers is completed monthly to ensure compliance.
