SAVANNAH FARMERS MARKET VENDOR RULES 2026
- This is a group effort among YOU the growers, producers, the City of Savannah, the Dept. of AG, and our customers.
- The City of Savannah and/or the Dept. of AG has the right to ask any vendor to remove a product or your booth at any time.
- Farmers Market is on Saturday at 8 AM – 2 PM. Space/setup is free. Consistent/returning vendors who are in good standing with the City of Savannah will be in seasonal assigned spaces. Other vendors will have their spaces assigned weekly. Under the pavilion, spaces WILL be assigned. Booths are approximately 10×10. Other limited spaces at the market will be the designated paved area. Each week, a map of the assigned layouts will be posted on a column under the pavilion.
- Unloading in the paved area is allowed prior to 7:30 AM. Once you unload, YOU MUST MOVE YOUR VEHICLE. Parking is available in the lots behind Main Street and behind the County Courthouse. Vendors parked on Williams or Main Street will be asked to move.
- No selling from your vehicle or from the street. No blocking the sidewalks. There are a few exceptions for truck vendors who have received prior permission and are in good standing with the HCCVB.
- Any pavilion vendor not set up in place by 8:15 AM will have their space assigned to another vendor on site.
- Everything must be grown or handmade within a 100-mile radius. Craft items must be original crafts. Farmers, growers, and producers have preference over crafters when space is limited.
- PICKLES, SALSAS, CANNED GOODS, BAKED GOODS, ETC. – must follow the Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture guidelines. Be sure you meet the regulations per your product. The UT Extension office (731-925-3441) can help you find information. Their office is in the Hardin County Courthouse basement.
- MEATS – must follow the USDA guidelines. Please register/check with the Hardin County Health Dept. (731-925-2557) and/or UT Extension (731-925-3441).
- Pre-packaged food and body products need to be labelled with ingredients that they are made with.
- No smoking at the market or on the grounds.
- Tents are allowed in the paved area and under the pavilion. TENTS MUST BE WEIGHTED. Please make sure they do not exceed your 10×10 space.
- Handicapped parking is marked at the north end of the paved area. No other vehicles are allowed in the paved area.
- Vendors are responsible for removing all items from their area at the day’s end.
- The Market will follow CDC/City of Savannah current guidelines.
- Said rules pertain to this season only.
- No market on July 4th
- Market will be in a different location on the following dates: June 27th, October 10th

- ALL PRODUCTS SOLD MUST BE GROWN OR HANDCRAFTED BY THE APPLICANT WITHIN A 100-MILE RADIUS OF SAVANNAH, TENNESSEE.
- This is an application only and does not automatically indicate available space.
- Market hours are Saturday’s from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Vendor space is at Savannah Market, located at Main and Williams Streets.
- Pavilion spaces are assigned; paved area spaces are open to first come, first serve.
- Tents are welcome but must be weighted.
- By submitting this form, you consent to having your photo taken and shared on social media.
- Savannah Farmers Market reserves the right to reject any application or ask anyone to leave for any reason.
- If an item you are selling is suspected to not be handmade or hazardous for consumption, you will be asked to remove it from your booth. This is solely at the discretion of the Savannah Farmers Market committee, UT Extension, and/or the Dept of AG.
