Due to extreme drought conditions, the Savannah Utility Department requests that water customers:
- Reduce water usage where possible
Limit lawn irrigation, only run dishwashers and laundry appliances with full loads, etc. - Notify of any leaks
If you find a water leak on your property, please notify us so we can shut off service at the meter until repairs are made.
Customers can report leaks during regular business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday) by calling (731) 925-4216. After hours and during weekends or holidays, customers can report leaks by calling (731) 925-4930, emailing us at utilities@cityofsavannah.org, or submitting the following contact form. Please include an address or account number in the Message section when filling out the form.
This will help to ensure the water system maintains enough capacity for normal usage levels until repairs are complete.
