SAVANNAH UTILITY DEPARTMENT
The City of Savannah, Tennessee is seeking an experienced water and wastewater treatment Plant Superintendent with a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in the operation of a water/wastewater treatment plant. The successful candidate should also possess a high school diploma supplemented by courses given by the Tennessee Health Department’s school on water/wastewater plant operations, and a Tennessee water/wastewater plant operator certificate equal to that of the facilities. Management experience is a plus, as this position supervises 8-10 employees as well as participates in developing plans for treating water/wastewater efficiently and economically. Starting salary is in the $50,000 range DOQ and includes a comprehensive benefit package.
